Safari Open Bookmarks from Favorites while Keeping the List Open

This is probably just a setting somewhere that I can't find, but for work I have to check in to see if there are updates on over 100 sites. I manually click a bunch of bookmarks, command click to open in a new tab. The problem is when I command click on Safari in favorites the menu closes and I have to back and open it rather than just going through the list and command clicking the websites I want to open in new tabs. Is there a way to keep the list of bookmarked favorites open while command clicking to open a bunch in new tabs? Thank you so much!
