My photos is in iCloud and shared with family, suddenly there is only 2-300 photos on my iMac but my macbook and iPhone has all the 12500 pictures. Hope someone can help me. Thank you and greetings from Denmark

You said "shared with family." Did you perhaps move most of your photos into a Shared Library? As I recall, macOS 11.7.10 is too old to "see" photos in a Shared Library, so it would know about only the photos remaining in the Private Library.
Thanks, I just found that out when I tried it on my mini, but here there came a message with the information!
Your Mac mini must be running a system new enough to know that Shared Libraries exist that it cannot see into.
Exactly, I must get myself a newer iMac, the mini is only used for music, so that is not a problem. Thanks for your interest
