Sharing a fix, that enabled transparency to work again, on my Airpod pros, transparency only came on intermittently, and then stopped.
After trying, resetting and validation that firmware is ok, I then thoroughly cleaned the AirPods using alcohol wipes. Paying attention to the external black meshes.
To my delight, this has worked, and transparency is working as expected
