Incompatible Content error for Alien Romulus on Apple TV app with Samsung Q90R TV

Do verify if newer TV system software is available, as the Apple TV app updates may require that. Updates are sometimes needed to fix incompatibilities.

The Apple TV app on supported devices is supposed to support all content that is available in it, including all Store movies. Please contact the Apple Support staff for assistance.

The only Way I got it to work was to contact Apple Support. They gave me redund. I went in an bought the movie again and then it worked.

Same problem for me on my LG smart TV and Chromecast TV.

Talked to apple support Yesterday. They gave me a refund.

went in to the Apple TV+ store to buy it again. But now not available for purchase.

My purchased digital version of Alien Romulus has started working again on the Apple TV app on my Samsung smart TV.

I didn’t change anything. I would suggest everyone try their movies again 😊

I am having the same problem on my Samsung S95C can watch everything else except Alien Romulus, have tried resetting tv reinstalling app. There is no new software update available on tv or app. Have watched movie before in the same way but can’t now

I’m having the same problem. I can’t play the move “Night at the museum” on my LG TV with the AppleTV app. The error is “Incompatible Content. To play this show, try using an Apple device.”

Deleting and reinstalling the app had no effect. Unplugging and restarting the TV had no effect.

I am, however, able to AirPlay the movie from my iPad to the TV.

I’m have the exact same problem. I purchased the movie approx. 1 week ago and it streamed fine. When I try and watch today I get the incompatible message.

I also have this problem with Alien Romulus only on my Samsung S90c! Played last week no problem!?

My movie started working again after a few days. In the meantime, I was able to play it on an iPad and AirPlay to my TV.
