I have a reminder that drops into my inbox on 1st of each month. I want to delete it but can’t locate the source.not in my reminder app nor calendar

You somehow have an Open-Xchange mail server involved, and the reminder is undoubtedly arising from there.
Hard to find doc, but this looks close to what was probably used:

I have checked Mac air & only have one calendar. Attached screenprint of my reminder

Does it come also as an email? If so, try deleting the email.

Yes, you must have set up an event with an alert sent by email. You indicate using an iPad; I thought “alert by email” was only a Mac functionality. Can you confirm the devices you use?

Otherwise, just to be sure, have you searched the calendar on the Mac itself? Also, do you have multiple calendars in Calendar?
