I have iphone13. I keep buying new original cables every month because it stops working. I notice one of the leads in the connector gets black. I don’t know how to fix this problem.

maybe something is defect in whatever you connect the cable to
I've lost 1 apple cable since 2007 with the first gen iPod touch
and that was because the xwife pulled the cable when disconnecting the cable rather than pulling the connector
never had cables melt or become black being that ios devices charge by 5volts which could never produce that type of heat, unless the ac charger leaked 110ac or 240ac volt into the cable
