Best Non-Bluetooth Desktop Speaker System with Subwoofer!?

As stated in title, I am looking to replace my Bose Companion 5 Multimedia System with something similar. I seem to be having a hard time finding anything and was wondering if anyone could offer some suggestions = ) I'm hoping to find something that actually plugs into the Mac Studio and something that has a Bass/Subwoofer module. Also, I didn't think it would ever be an issue but this system would also have to "play nice" with Mac Studio. There seems to be some chatter online but incompatibly with some audio systems and the newer Macs. I appreciate any and all advice offered!

Mac Studio, macOS 14.7

What your looking for is a hard wired 2.1 Speaker System.

for some examples have a look at > https://www.amazon.com/s?k=2.1+computer+speakers&hvadid=557503122475&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9032274&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=10661563268501636204&hvtargid=kwd-300835505431&hydadcr=947_1014953127&tag=googhydr-20&ref=pd_sl_7d634m846e_e

FWIW I've had my Creative Inspire 2.1 speaker system for all most 20 years and it works just as well with my new Mac's as it did with my 2006 iMac.

Hm… Dunno if you’re willing to spend $600 on a 5.1 speaker system but my Logitech Z906 has served me well…. About the only other thing you’d have to buy with it is a USB-A to Toslink adapter plus a 3.5 mm stereo audio cable of sufficient length… the speakers have 500 Watts RMS power… bass/subwoofer module ? Oh yes, it sure has one… maybe Edifier??

Yup, they do TankvilleFarmer.. wireless and wired subwoofer… pretty pricey though… and to control it, you’ll need to buy a Razer Control Pod as well . You may also need a copy of Razer’s Synapse software/app which might or might not work on MacOS later than Mojave… if you wanted to know for sure , you’d have to contact Razer… the pod is about $70 extra…
