My Sonoma system has the odd behavior that, when I boot it, it often grabs on to my neighbor's wifi (which I do have the password for, for emergencies). How do I tell it that MY wifi network is the default, and THAT'S the one to grab onto?

Try System Settings -> Network -> WiFi -> Advanced -> Known Networks -> neighbor's network -> (...) -> Auto-Join (make sure it is unchecked)

Thank you! I think that's EXACTLY my problem. Loads of networks in my list were marked as "Auto-Join", including my neighbors. I have unchecked that for all of them. Boy, they hide these preferences well ...
