When I inserted pictures (png) in word with high resolution and then saved the file, they became faint with very low resolution.
I also tried to change the resolution setting and use high fidelity instead, and this did not solve the problem.
Could you help please because it is a very big issue.

In Word, from the Insert menu, select Pictures and then from that menu select
Picture from file ...
and then select your .png file.
If the resolution is still not good, open that .png file in Preview and export it as a pdf file and try that pdf file with the above menus.
