Verification error loop creating child account - solved!

I have been searching for days trying everything. When trying to add a child to family sharing, I got stuck verifying that I am an adult via credit card. I finally realized two things that made me get unstuck. I had Apple play enabled, assuming my card should work, but you need to go into your settings, then payment methods and add card there BEFORE you try to add someone via family sharing. There I also noticed that although my profile is in my married name, when I went to payment methods my billing address was under my maiden name. Once I added card and double checked address and name I was able to add someone under family sharing and create kid account. Hope this helps someone
