Parental control with no iPhone

Hi,

Both my son and I had iPhones and we had parental control over screen time and downloaded apps.

I returned my phone to my employer today and it was reset, and I no longer have an iPhone.

Still - when my son wants to download an app, his phone tells him he has to request approval for the download, but there's no way for me to approve it.

I tried to go to screen time -> controls & privacy restrictions - and turn it off, but even when it's off, he cannot download any app because the iPhone says he must request approval from the parent.

Please assist.
