I want to prevent the track from visually moving while joining two regions
when joining or bouncing track regions together , the track visually sweeps across the screen . i am using a iMac running 14.7 using logic 11.0.1

It looks, that Logic behaves like bouncing regions. I've never noticed anything like this before, probably because I use different zoom settings when merging files. I don't know how to prevent this except by zooming out. Does it return to the starting point though?
Could you post a screenshot or screen recording?
Thanks for helping. It doesnt aways return to the starting point, but i did figure out if i set the cycle bar between the edits , it stops at the end of yellow bar
