71974 Error occurs when playing music on HomePod mini


Recently, I’ve been encountering Error Code 71974 when trying to play music through my HomePod Mini. The issue doesn’t arise when using my iPhone, iPad, or Mac, but only when attempting to play music through the HomePod.


In particular, the issue occurs more frequently when selecting the HomePod as the playback device using “Add” rather than “Set”.


I’ve tried various troubleshooting steps, including deleting and reinstalling the Music app on my iPhone, disabling and re-syncing the iCloud Music Library, and even resetting the HomePod, but the problem persists.


It seems that no one else in the Korean or global community has reported this exact issue related to error code 71974. I’d appreciate it if anyone familiar with this problem or its cause could share potential solutions.
