Need to verify credit card in Apple Wallet

I recently had to replace my credit card and when Apple wallet is connecting with the bank it says to verify and gives me the phone number. I’ve activated the card but apple wallet still says to verify with bank. I’m in a loop and can’t move forward. I was able to add my debit card last week with no issues. Same bank. I’m frustrated and don’t know what else to do. Same thing happens on my iPad.
