Apple Music not updating changes, then reverts back to original state

I am updating some playlists, moving songs from one list to another, and in some cases deleting a playlist.

Once I have completed these changes, and deleted the playlist, it does not disappear, but hangs there....

I have closed the music app down, and re-opened, and all the changes I have made has reverted back to there original state.

I have tried to update the Library, but nothing happens......

I have just signed out, and signed back in, and now my library will not sync...HELP!!!!!!!

Close Music. Hold down Option as you launch Music, click Choose Library and explicitly reselect the library that you want it to open. Typically this will be ~/Music/Music/Music Library.musiclibrary. It seems Music may sometimes get connected to a cached copy of the library that doesn't update correctly. Close Music. Hold down Option+Cmd as you launch Music to open it in its safe mode, which may perform some repairs on the library. Make some changes. See if they stick.
