Title: How to Change Default Video Player on Mac?

Every time I open a video, it automatically plays in QuickTime, but I want to use a different player. I just got Elmedia Player because everyone says it's better, but I can't figure out how to make it the default one. I've tried right-clicking and some other stuff, but I can't seem to figure it out. Can anyone give me a step-by-step guide? I'm not super tech-savvy, so the simpler, the better.
