I cannot use AirPlay with my Apple TV gen 3

My gen 3 Apple TV, is connected to wifi network correctly and Apple TV onboard troubleshoot is fine. But screen mirroring fails to find ‘apple tv’.

I have checked all of the suggestions made in this post:

I confirm that the Wi-Fi is running WPA2

my 2 iPads and 2 iPhones are all on the same subnet, running iOS 18.01, 17.6 and 12.5.7

All worked perfectly until recent change in router; but even reverting to the old router (WiFi connection) and original WiFi settings it still fails.

Update-I took my Apple TV to a friend also with a (working) gen 3 setup and swapped the boxes. Again mine seemed to be fine on the new network, but not ‘AirPlay’ visible from any other apple device. We rechecked all configuration options but nothing found to be wrong.

So it seems to be an issue with the Apple TV. I will try another full ‘restore’ and see if that works.
