Option to add google account to apple calendar is not working. What can I do about it?

I'm in the Calendar settings on an iPhone 15, 18.0.1. I go to Calendar Accounts -> Add Account. When I press on Google, nothing is happening. I cannot add my Google Account to the calendar. Any ideas on how I can resolve this?
