Getting pop up “UpgradeFilterfld22318073349” will damage your computer'

I was staying in a hotel and used the free wifi, however it asked if I wanted to upgrade the wifi and declined. I am now getting a pop up box saying “UpgradeFilterfld22318073349” will damage your computer.

It gives two options click ok or show in finder, if you click ok it reappears, if you click show in finder it doesn't come up. However I did a search and it found a document which I deleted and then emptied the trash but it is still appearing after a restart, not sure how to get rid of it now. I can still use my MAC but have the move the box out of the way

You need to start your Mac in "Safe Mode" first:

Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support

Drag the unwanted files to the Trash while in that mode. Then, restart your Mac normally (not "Safe Mode"). If the dialog continues to appear after rebooting normally, please post three brand new screenshots showing the contents of those folders.

For more in-depth troubleshooting, and at your option, you can use the EtreCheck app which will perform a more comprehensive examination of your system. To learn how to use it for that purpose read Old Toad's User Tip How to use the Add Text Feature When Posting Large Amounts of Text, i.e. an Etrecheck Report - Apple Community. Please follow those instructions with care.
