Two 2019 MacBook Pros scrambling my phrases as I'm typing

Im so befuddled. I thought getting a new used 2019 Mac Book Pro would cease the problem of the constant scrambling of sentence phrases and words as I type. But no! Now I have two 2019 Mac [Bthat do thisook ] Book Pros that do this [see! it just did it] I have to constantly correct. The cursor sometimes also jumps around from one line to 2 or more previous lines! I have become the curser because of this cursor!

Its SOO constant and so unnerving. What the heck is doing this? And yes most times it puts 3 letters in a row like lettter buttter etc.

Both 2019 Macs run Sonoma.

One has:

• Intel quad core Processor
• Intel Iris Plus GFX card
• 8GB Memory.

The other has:

• 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9 Processor
• Dual Gfx Card: AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 4 GB and Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB.
• 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 Memory
