In addition to the Kurt's wise observation: in the event that some caches grow beyond reasonable size, or there is any reason to suspect they may have some form of corruption,
simply starting your Mac in Safe Mode tests and cleans up, if needed.
You can also (although, as Kurt noted, problably you don't need and shouldn't) delete some of them manually.
They're in ~/Library/Caches.
There may be caches from apps that you no longer use or have; but I'd just leave them be unless they baloon to a huge size. At present, this whole folder on my mac is less than 1GB, not really worth messing with.
