Problems with Messages after Sequoia OS 15.0.1 update

I installed the OS 15.0.1 update & now I cannot send text messages from my MacBook Pro & my text messages are not syncing between my phone & laptop. Is there a solution?

Yes - running Express VPN. I learned turning it off allows Messages to function properly again. I should not have to turn off the VPN due to the Sequioa update - or anything. Apple needs to fix this.

Thanks for your question and comment. I use Express VPN, too. Do you need to shut it off on your phone and your Mac? I agree with you 100%, apple needs to fix this.

Not running VPN. Right click on a message to delete and Messages quits unexpectedly. Also, I go to Settings/iCloud+ (my name)/Internet Accounts/Messages/Messages in iCloud/Status and Sync Now does not work.

Why is Messages version 14.0 when I just updated to Sequoia 15.1?
