how do I add/edit new calendars in the new ios 18? There used to be an option in the app to add a calendar and now it's gone.

What kind of account are you using? iCloud? Google Calendar? Something else?
If you go to the Calendar app, tap "Calendars" in the bottom center, you should see an option to "Add Calendar" at the bottom left.
My account is linked to my mail, i remember there used to be an "add calendar" option but it's gone now, like in the picture
The option is where it has been for as long as I can remember (with one small new addition).
Settings>Apps>Calendar>Calendar Accounts>Add Account
I checked this option, it's meant to add an account linked to an email, but I'm interested in adding calendars to my existing account :(
