Changing font and size in LaTex expressions
I am using 'xFormula' on a Mac to write some equations for a paper and I am finding it difficult to change the font type and size. I have seen posts elsewhere about using all sorts of code, such as \scalebox, but I don't see any of that type of code in the equation editor.
Here is the code as shown in the editor:
\nabla =x\frac{\partial}{\partial x} +y\frac{\partial}{\partial y} +z\frac{\partial}{\partial z}
which looks like this:
When inserted into my document, the result is a bit too large compared to my main text font, which is 12.5 Arial Narrow, so is there a straightforward way to tweak the font and size to match better?
Thank you
