Sequoia 15.0.1 and World of Warcraft

Hello,

Ever since I upgraded to Sequoia 15.0.1 I get disconnected randomly from WoW. I've tried to reinstall WoW and Battle.net-client.

Error code: wow5190019

One problem is that my Mac M3 (Pro) is bought by the company I work for. And since we are an IT company they have installed a profile on my Mac that overrides a lot of security options. So firewall for instance is not accessible. (Both WoW and Battened is allowed by the firewall anyways.)

Anyone else had any issues with Sequoia? I've seen a few other complaining about this on the Reddit, but none have been solved.

I have the exact same problem. After 15.0.1 WoW continuously disconnect (randomly). Disabling the Firewall seems to solve the issue, but it's very annoying.

Any update about the issue?

I have the exact same problem! It’s very annoying. My personal M1 Mac Studio worked perfectly with Sequoia, however after the 15.0.1 patch, the disconnects started. I KNEW it was not an issue with my WoW install as I’ve had the same setup for over a decade with no issues like this whatsoever.

It needs to be analyzed by a network person, I believe to figure out what is happening and why. So far I had tried resetting my IP config and releasing/renewing my IP address, flushing my DNS cache, rebooting and doing an in game “scan and repair” of game files.

I have also tried re-adding battle.net process to the firewall rules to allow incoming connections along with other child processes with no avail.

I am hopeful that disabling the Mac firewall will be a workaround until the issue is fixed, but I have little hope of either Apple nor Blizzard of fixing the issue.

Last time I had trouble with WoW similar (would not connect at all) I went into the game settings and disabled IPv6.

I also tried turning it back on, but that has had no effect.

I again am hopeful to turning the firewall off when playing and back on when not.
