Ripping CDs to iTunes on Mac for use on Music app on iPhone

Hi, I have an older Mac Pro workstation (mid 2010’s) running High Sierra 10.13.6. I’ve always ripped CD’s into this Mac into iTunes. I also purchase a lot of music thru my iPhone/iPad, which will then show up for use on my iTunes on my Mac Pro. However, how can I access and listen to my old CD’s ripped into my Mac’s iTunes on my iPhone/iPad ? I also have a newer laptop, but don’t use it for music, but same - I only see purchased iTunes music. I listen to the iphone when bluetooth’ed to my car radio. But only have access to music I’ve purchased thru itunes. Thanks in advance.
