How to stop inappropriate Ad pop ups while playing game?

Disturbing app / violence against women and children

Ads for other games pop up when I play my game or puzzle. It’s always showing women being violated by men, a pregnant woman being cheated on and left on the street in the cold, and children suffering.

It is very evil and disrespectful to turn such situations into an emotional hook to attract people to play a game.

How do we do something about this?

This is wrong on so many levels…

The pain inflicted upon individuals who are victims of abuse each time these ads pop up.

And seeing this so often normalizing the abuse, just heartbreaking!

  • Quit supporting the developer by not playing the game. Why let them make money off of you watching those ads?
  • Contact the developer directly. They are getting paid to provide those ads to you.
  • Write a review for the app in the App Store. This will not only be seen by the Developer, but also other users who may be considering downloading the app.
  • Pay for an ad-free version of the app.
  • Contact the Ad Service where the ad originated. The name is usually in fine print in one of the corners. The vast majority of the Ad Service providers are companies operated by Google, Facebook, and Unity. The ads from these providers are available on many games, not just the one you are playing.
