1980s Macintosh start up

Just pulled this out of my attic. Put a data desk in the Mac. But I have an alternative drive. Do I put in a McCright disk or a system disk? I can’t get the data disk out of the Macintosh.

iPad, iPadOS 17

Information about the exact Macintosh model would help.

The alternative drive, is this a floppy disk drive, a hard disk drive, or possibly a CD-ROM drive (model number)?

Any information (name/version) on the disks that you have access to?

Also, with the computer turned off, a straightened paper clip can often be used to eject a floppy (hole next to the disk slot).
