Siri-esque audio visualization?

Can Motion generate an animated visualization of speech that looks a bit like the Siri one? We have a scene where someone is conversing with a laptop. I've seen several tutorials but they are all appear to be based on traditional audio waveforms. Thanks for any pointers, links or plugin recommendations.
