pinch in and out of the calendar to increase/decrease space not working

I noticed the title of most of my monthly calendar view on the iPad are very condensed. Sometimes I only see one or two letters. On my iPhone it looks like you can pinch in and out. But I can’t seem to do this on my iPad. I submitted a feature feedback. But I’m thinking this might be more of a bug.
