Travel time missing! iPhone iOS 18 upgrade

Thank you for providing this information. Unfortunately, if you schedule an event for the entire day it does not give you the option to have travel time listed. The previous version was much more user friendly re: travel time.

I just played with the calendar app to see what you are referring to.. I was able to schedule an an appt with travel time and a second alert, I think it's just a little different than it was previously.

Here is what I believe the conditions are:

• In order for the Alert drop down to include travel time, you must select something in the Travel Time menu right under the Starts/Ends menus
• If you specify a location of the appointment, the Travel Time menu will change a bit.. you will have to toggle the Travel Time switch and then select from the options. If no location is included for the appointment, the Travel Time is just a list of times that you have to select (which obviously would not include traffic etc with a fixed time)
• If you want the Second Alert to be available, you have to select something for Alert

I think I know what you are refering to. There appears to be a bug when first upgraded to ios18, the calendar app doesn't automatically calculate your travel time when you set your destination, it doens't even ask for a start location. You can only select the predefined 5mins, 10mins, 15mins etc. The solution is pretty simple, you just restart your phone after the frist upgrade.
