Calendar invites not updating automatically on my MacBook Air

I have a business account running on a called format calendar.

I am syning to iCloud so my calendars update across devices.

Often meeting invites come in but the calendar does not update to new time. Sometimes works when I click on ics attached to email but cancellations rarely cancel. How do I fix?
