Apple Watch OS11 haptic problem

No Haptic only on watch ultra with OS 11 and Mail

Installed IOS 18 a few days and it worked great until the next day I installed OS11 on the watch. Now no matter what I do I cannot get just haptics on my watch when an email comes through. It’s either with sound or completely silent. I like it to just tap me on the wrist when I am at work and it’s really annoying now. I have tried all the setting in mirror my iphone and custom. I don't know why it has stopped working since messages etc can still get haptic only. It must be a bug.

Other people have been reporting the same too.

3rd party notifications like WhatsApp do not notify me on my Ultra 2 since the latest watchOS 11 update as well. Let's hope that Apple will address this in an upcoming update.

I have iPhone pro max 11 using OS18 and recently upgraded my watch from series 8 to ultra 2. I have the ultra 2 watch os11 . When I receive notifications such as WhatsApp/ emails . My watch does not vibrate it only vibrates on calls, sms, health alerts. Glad I’m not the only one having this issue because I was going crazy 😂. I will report this to Apple

Did you already force restart your watch after the upgrade by pressing and holding the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?

If this does not work, unpairing and connecting your watch again to your iPhone would be the next step:

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch - Apple Support

If still no luck, you should report the issue directly to Apple by using the Feedback link:

I tried all that. Had the Apple Watch 6 and wasn’t updated, it was working fine.

Upgraded my watch to 10, and updated it and now it’s not working. Had Apple Service try to help me over the phone, that didn’t work. Went to the Apple store and service there couldn’t figure it out. they exchanged the watch and it’s still not working. Must be a bug.
