Visual Lookup in Photos app not working after iOS 18 Update

The letter "I" with the circle around it is still there but doesn't identify anything.

Ok, I have been through this a few times as a noob going to the WRONG place to correct this issue.

I am hoping that this will help some people because it finally worked for me.

Go to your Settings app and scroll down to find Search. Go into search and turn on "Show Related Content".

I was going under Photos > Search to try and fix this and that ain't the right place.

Hope the image below helps.

Special thanks to LordCthulhu8 who made this clear to me.

I have same issue on 15 promax iOS 18.01 in visual lookup option is not available. the i icon has no star on it. I made sure “show related content” is enabled in settings. i even disabled and reenabled and restarted phone but the visual lookup is not available for any of my photos; old and new; taken by camera or downloaded from web. any idea if this is software issue related to iOS 18.01 ?!

I also updated to 18.1.1 and my photos will not tell me the plant name anymore. I already have the "Ensure Show Featured Content and Enhanced Visual Search" on. I restarted my phone, I turned the settings off and on again. There is NO information in the (i) area for nam. I have an iPhone 14. I also do NOT see the show related content.

Any other ideas??

Thank you,
