Caps lock key not responding after restarting my MacBook
I am trying to get into my new MacBook but the caps lock key won’t release. I have restarted the computer but no joy, it’s still locked. I need help!

If you have a Mac with an Intel processor (this won’t work for the Apple M-series processors):
Since it is new, contact Apple. I would not accept a Mac with an inoperative Caps Lock key, not for a moment. Return it if necessary, then immediately buy another. Hopefully they will have some common sense and just let you exchange it for a new one on the spot.
