New iPhone 15 running iOS 17.6.1 won't search historic Calendar data

Have tried 'fixes' suggested here for previous iOS versions and now getting partial search results through to 2013 only - i.e. not for the most recent decade :-(

Also this is in fact my fifth iPhone over the years, yet the iPhone 15 calls itself iPhone (4). Why? iPhone (4) was my iPhone 14 Plus which was a disaster from day one... too big and uncomfortable to hold; screen far too sensitive among other problems
