Pending Purchase

Hello everyone! as You can see in the picture I got a "Pending Purchase" in my app store from RoK Game, I asked for a refund and apple & RoK Refunded the items from the game, But the purchase still says "Pending" and if I update my payment method the money will be withdrawn even though the items in game were refunded and apple supported accepted my refund request. How can I cancel this Pending Purchase ?

Refunds are not immediate and will depend on the payment method.


Store credit—It might take up to 48 hours to see the refund in your Apple Account balance.


Mobile phone billing—It might take up to 60 days for the statement to show the refund. Processing time might be affected by your carrier. You can contact your carrier for an update.


Credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Apple Cash, and all other payment methods—It might take up to 30 days for the statement to show the refund. If you don't see the refund after 30 days, contact your financial institution.

You cannot request a return on a Pending charge and it must be successfully charge first before you would get a refund. It may be that you were granted a refund on previous purchases and not the ones that you see in your first screenshot. You will see all the amounts don't match, as the return shows a $39.99 return that you do not have listed in your charges.


I suspect you will get a refund within the time shown in the previous link, but you are still going to have to pay for the current charges you have showing. It is also likely that you will no longer be able to use the App Store for any other purchases or even update apps until you add a valid payment method and pay for those charges.

There should not be any reason why the refund will not proceed and be completed within the time frame noted in the Support Article. Continue with the link provided to check that status if you wish. Also note in that same link that the refund will go back to the card that was used for the purchase, so do not expect it to go to the card that you add.


If your refund is approved, the funds are applied to the same payment method that you used to buy the item.

If it has been longer than the specified time period, Apple recommends to contact your financial institution, but I would also contact Apple directly to get all the details if you have not received the refund on your card within that time.

Yep, in addition I still don't believe that the items you show as refunded are the same ones that you see that will be charged. The totals don't match. I suspect you had many in-app purchases for that game and the only ones you are going to get refunded for or those listed in the second screen shot.

Yeah I did many purchases and things got confused, But they are charging me for the total of the second picture so we are good, All I want is whatever got refunded in game will also be refunded once they take the money, Which I hope it is. I will update my payment to a card that got money in it so they can take the money, Then after that I should apply for refund or will they return it auto as they accepted the refund ? and thank you so much for helping me and giving me some of your time
