This forum is for all things macOS Server which is not in any way related to Apple’s Recovery Servers.
Things you can try are:
1 - If using Wi-Fi, don’t. Use an Ethernet cable instead. If this is not possible get as close as you can to your router.
2 - If everyone else in your household is using the internet at the same time as you’re trying to do this, then ask them to stop. Especially younger people involved in online gaming.
3 - Check your internet connection/service. Contact your ISP’s support team and double check the download speeds you’re paying for are what they should be.
If you’re trying to install an older macOS such as High Sierra or older then this may not be possible anymore. There is plenty of advice on what to do if that’s the case on these forums. All you need to do is search for them.
Good luck
This error often means there's an issue with your internet connection or the server is down. Try checking your network, restarting your router, or switching to a different Wi-Fi. If the problem persists, the server might be temporarily unavailable.
