check if Activation Lock is active on Macs
We have recently start adding the Mac Laptops bought by our organization to Apple Business, however, we have faced some situations where the devices which were previously in use but not associated to our ABM where linked to the user's Apple ID and when we performed a reset it activated the activation lock. Could you please advise on how we can check if Activation Lock is active on our organization's Macs? Additionally, we would appreciate any guidance on steps we can take to prevent this issue from occurring in the future, ensuring that devices are properly unlinked from iCloud before they are reassigned or returned to inventory.
