Pending Purchases

So I loaded my wallet and I might have purchased more than what was in my account but im not sure if thats the reason why im having pending purchases when i go to my purchase history but if so then i just want to understand why apple allows a purchase to go through knowing a person is out of balance? why not just tell them they're out of balance and if they want to load their wallet to be able to purchase more then they do that on their own instead of letting it come through and later hitting them with a pending balance and restrict them from updating/downloading apps? People are going to make unnecessary mistakes and feels uncomfortable using iphone if these things keeps happening

iPhone 6s, iOS 15

What is loading a wallet? Apple Wallet can’t be loaded.

All purchases are pending until the merchant finalizes or closes the batch. That’s the way all credit or debit cards work.

Only your bank knows how much money you have in your account. If you get hit with overdrafts, that’s your bank doing that. Remember, Apple is not a bank.

Apple doesn’t process any purchases or payments to go through. Apple is not a bank and doesn’t have any idea what you’re doing. That’s the privacy that Apple Pay offers.

Apple only restricts your account, when your bank does not approve the transaction. Apple has no idea why a payment/purchase does not go through. Only your bank knows why a transaction fails.

If you don’t like your bank’s policies and procedures, find a different bank. 😀😀😀
