Numbers Sorting no longer sorts.

It use to sort. Now when I click on the column it says: Show Sort Options that doesn't work either. In fact it is totally non responsive. So how does it work. The videos must be old. It shows the way it use to work and the current documents do not sort. It is so frustrating.
