Can't configure Applepay for different users on my MacBook, only one is allowed

Created separate standard user (without admin rights) on my MacBook with Applepay sandbox account available. After trying to configure Applepay (add credit card) for this user I got message that only one user can use Apple Pay on this Mac. But it shouldn't be like this. If I re-set Apple Pay for this account for the main admin account ApplePay become re-set and not available accordingly.

Checked with my college, on his MacBook two accounts configured and work well.

Will be glad for any help!

This is what Apple says in their support article,

>>Only one user at a time on your Mac can use Apple Pay.

If an administrator with a different user account wants to use Apple Pay, they can reset Apple Pay in Wallet & Apple Pay settings. Choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Wallet & Apple Pay in the sidebar, then click Add Card. (You may need to scroll down.) See Change Wallet & Apple Pay settings.

Other users can also use Apple Pay on their iPhone or Apple Watch, if they have a card associated with that device.<<

I interpret that to say only one user at a time can have payment methods in their user account on a Mac.

A possible explanation of your friend’s Mac would be two separate user accounts using the same Apple ID. I’m not sure and you’d need to test that. That creates numerous privacy issues however.
