remove blur background feature in quicktime player

I use Quicktime player a lot for short video recordings. It now has a blurred background. The problem is that it is blurring my hair with the background. I want to turn off that feature. Or delete and reinstall. What can I do?

Mystery solved! It is a feature that was in the latest iOS update. So when you open any camera app- the green and white camera icon appears on the top bar (next to the sound icon). Click on the green icon and taadaa there are these new options which include portrait mode that creates a background blur. The other options are studio light and animated reactions.

I love the new features now that I know how to adjust or turn off.

I'm pretty sure this is coming from Quicktime and not a camera / camera app.

This blurring effect doesn't appear when I'm using my camera for Google or Zoom meetings. I've tried both my Macbook's FaceTime camera as well as an attached DSLR using both an Elgato capture device (& app) and Cascable Pro. Both of these apps video monitors show no blurring, but Quicktime has this blurred background effect on in all the above cases.
