How to create main menu and scenes in iMovie 2024

I am using a brand new Mac 2024 and editing a family reunion video in iMovie. I am trying to create a main menu and select scenes, is there a way to do this?

Unfortunately this cannot be done in iMovie 10 (the current version).

Even in earlier versions that supported chapter markers, there was no way to create a main menu in iMovie The movie containing chapter markers would have to be transferred to iDVD to create a main menu (and iDVD was for creating DVDs and was discontinued back in 2011).

Adobe Premiere Elements & Premiere Pro can create scene/chapter markers but even they presuppose you are creating a main menu in a DVD.

As said, this only works for DVD's, You can use something like Toast to Author DVD's.

I keep a computer on Mojave, so I can still use iDVD!
