Is macOS really need anti-virus?

I panning to buy anti-virus for Mac, so I am confused my Mac really need anti-virus. I am open only few sites for trading purpose only if I need anti-virus so according apple community which anti-virus is good for Mac and well optimised for m3 😇

As a former Windows user, I can safely assure you that you don’t need any antivirus apps because they are the ones that typically cause panics and other serious issues.


Your Mac has built-in protection and a protected volume that can’t be changed.


You will find that without that extra, your Mac will run smoother than it has ever been.

Keep Security Software Off of your Mac.

It just gets in the way, and is sometimes un-installable. If you need to update sometimes, then its Firewall Settings may just get in the way. Reading these forms throughout the years, you'll find plans example of how and why.


But...

Scan with Malwarebytes for Mac:

Start with running a scan for malware, using Malwarebytes for Mac and remove what is found. Perhaps something was installed that made this occur. Remove what is found from the quarantine. Malware is short for: Malicious Software, which makes you computer act in a mislead manor.

  2. Malwarebytes Uninstaller
