Macbook connects to NEW home wifi, then internet stops working even though Wifi signal remains.
We got new broadband/wifi provider in home. Two other MacBooks, two other iPads and 3 other iPhones all connect to new wifi successfully AND remain connected to the internet without issue. Some of those other devices are mine, and still without issue, so this is unique to my Macbook only. We've even had friends visit and connect and work all day on the new wifi.
Also worth noting, the sometimes my connection stays for a few hours or for a few minutes. To get reconnected, I simply have to disconnect wifi, and then reconnect and it works again right away, but just for a few minutes most of the time. To edit this post, I had to disconnect and reconnect to finish.
My Macbook worked fine connected to our previous wifi provider before this new wifi router was connected, and I have not changed anything on my Macbook. I have searched internet, and follow instructions on releasing DHCP, restarting, and made sure I have the latest os version installed on my Macbook, but the issue continues to happen. I can't find any other instructions on what to try. Any suggestions on why this is happening and what I can do stay connected again?
