Installing Sims 1 complete collection on 2007 Macbook

I recently received a 2007 MacBook A1881 to play the Sims 1 Complete Collection DVD. When I try to install it, I receive this error message and when I try to play it, I receive another error that it can not read the “.” that this part of the DVD disk name.

Any suggestion on how to be able to instal and play the game?
