Migrating from iTunes on Windows 11 Home to Apple Music on Windows 11 Home

I want to transfer/migrate all of my playlists on iTunes to the new Apple Music app. I have a subscription to Apple Music and have iCloud Sync turned on. With this setting on, my iTunes (latest version) is practically useless as it constantly freezes up on my Windows computer. I am hoping that the Apple Music app will not do the same thing, but before I pull the trigger I want to make sure that I can transfer/migrate all of my playlists over to the Apple Music app. I have spent countless hours creating these lists over the years. Will the playlists automatically transfer/migrate when I run the Apple Music app or are there steps I need to take first to ensure the successful transfer/migration?
