IOS update 17.5.1 apple id problems - Text - Email - Phone Calls- Facetime not working

Has anyone found a fix for cell phones not working after the 17.5.1 update? After spending two hours at the Apple Store, we were told it appears to be a software issue with our Apple ID account. Our device won't send iMessages, use FaceTime, or connect to our cellular service, although most functions work on WiFi. Any solutions? Not impressed with our apple store visit to say the least.
