Thunderbolt Display not working on some power outlets

My Thunderbolt Display, which connects to a MacBook Air M1, recently stopped working (no power).

The issue began when I plugged it into the same surge-protected power strip as my new gaming computer and another monitor. The Windows computer and monitor work fine.

I have tried the following troubleshooting steps, but the display still does not work:

1. Removed the gaming computer and monitor from the power strip, leaving only the Mac display.

2. Plugged the Mac display directly into the wall socket.

3. Plugged the Mac display into a different nearby socket.

4. Bought a brand new surge-protected power strip.

5. Changed the power cable and repeated all of the above steps.

None of these attempts worked.

The only way I can get the Mac display to power up is by plugging it into an outlet in another room.

Any ideas on what could be causing this problem?
